Ki cho sam bo - a 20 stage pattern

From the choom bi stance, you begin:

Chamber left hand across chest at 45 degrees, shoulder, chamber right hand across left (in front of left), look left

* This chamber is used before every turn that is followed by an outward block. Where the description says chamber, cross your arms with the blocking arm on the outside

  1. Pivot 90 left, left back stance, left outward block

  2. Advance to right front stance, right middle punch chamber right outward, look right

  3. Pivot 180 degrees CW on left foot to right back stance, right outward block

  4. Advance to left front stance, left middle punch Chamber left to right shoulder, look left

  5. Pivot 90 degrees CCW on right foot to left front stance, left low block; once block is complete, raise the blocking arm until it is parallel to the floor.

  6. Advance to right horse stance, right middle punch

  7. Advance to left horse stance, left middle punch

  8. Advance to right horse stance, right middle punch, KIHAP Chamber: Left hand outward

  9. Pivot 270 degrees CCW on right foor to left back stance, left outward block

  10. Advance to right front stance, right middle punch Chamber right outward, look right

  11. Pivot 180 degrees CW on left foot to right back stance, right outward block

  12. Advance to left front stance, left middle punch Chamber left to right shoulder, look left

  13. Pivot 90 degrees CCW on right foot to left front stance, left low block; once block is complete, raise the blocking arm until it is parallel to the floor.

  14. Advance to right horse stance, right middle punch

  15. Advance to left horse stance, left middle punch

  16. Advance to right horse stance, right middle punch, KIHAP Chamber: Left hand outward

  17. Pivot 270 degrees CCW on right foot to left back stance, left outward block

  18. Advance to right front stance, right middle punch Chamber right outward, look right

  19. Pivot 180 degrees CW on left foot to right back stance, right outward block

  20. Advance to left front stance, left middle punch. Hold position.

Return to ready ("baro") when instructed to.
